Facing the Moon Shadow Wraiths.
The wailing shadows secreted from the giant monster's body were surprisingly strong fighters. Once they detached from its surface, they transformed into vicious Demon Soldiers. Though fewer in number than the Moon Shadow Wraiths, they held their own, and the two sides clashed in a stalemate that showed no sign of ending soon.
"Who are you?"
The monster's wailing voice was hoarse.
Though it asked the question, it didn't seem to care about the answer. After their brief clash, it had already realized how troublesome this surface-dweller was.
Hundreds of lesser demons following behind it let out low, strange cries and surged toward the twisted shadow.
The sky was in chaos.
"Leave the rest to me. Finish it off as quickly as you can."
After Windsor spoke, she silently recited an incantation and summoned two hideous creatures of astonishing size in moments.
One was a gigantic creature resembling a towering pillar of yellow-brown sand. Countless soft tongues sprouted from its surface, seemingly coated in a terrifyingly sticky substance. Any demon that came too close and got caught was instantly reeled in with lightning speed, swallowed into its body, and never seen again. The sight was bizarre and unsettling.
The other was a gigantic creature made of energy that exploded again and again. With each "boom" and "boom," its size fluctuated wildly, swelling to dozens of meters with each blast, then shrinking to barely a meter. It charged about, burying any nearby demons beneath its shock waves.
The two strange summons, completely alien to the evolutionary chain of life in Starveil Land, slaughtered the surrounding lesser demons.
Standing between these two bizarre, gigantic creatures, Windsor's mysterious aura grew ever stronger.
It even piqued Reilo's interest.
"Temporal studies truly are wondrous."
But elsewhere...
Though it couldn't sense
