One of the structures was nearly complete.
It was a colossal bone altar, over thirty meters tall and nearly a hundred meters in diameter, assembled from countless bones. They were not only human bones, but also those of all kinds of beasts and Magical Beasts, and even countless monsters.
The bones had been pieced together and piled high. At first glance, the altar looked imposing, yet it was also terrifyingly eerie.
At its center, demonic flames burned fiercely, radiating the faint remnants of a Law.
Around the altar, the rich Faith Power had almost formed a raging torrent.
"Ah, no..."
Those were the screams of humans. Looking over, they saw humans being driven by the monsters, shrieking in despair as they were slaughtered in groups at the altar's edge as living sacrifices.
The corpses decayed quickly, as though they were being absorbed by the altar of living sacrifices.
Soon, all that remained of them were bones, which became part of the altar.
After the sacrifices, many monster priests roared excitedly, speaking in the language of the Underground World. The demonic fog gathering in the sky grew ever darker.
"There are several cages over there. I'd say at least tens of thousands of people are still being held inside. Your Majesty, do we save them or not?"
The group lay in hiding.
