When Xue Qinghe saw Ye Qiu, his expression was rather displeased. He snorted. "You were gone for half the day. I thought you were going to stand me up."
"Haha, of course not. I was just held up by some other things." Ye Qiu smiled and led Ah Yin to a seat nearby. "What? Xue'er, don't tell me you prepared breakfast for me and got a little angry when I didn't show up?"
"Hmph! Don't flatter yourself!" Qian Renxue gradually returned to her female form and snorted. She had prepared more than just breakfast for Ye Qiu—she'd even made lunch.
"Fine, I'll just keep flattering myself, then."
Ye Qiu shrugged and naturally poured Ah Yin a cup of tea. "You didn't prepare any food, but surely you got a room ready?"
