Another seven days passed.
Seven days later, Li Bufan finally refined all the energy. In that moment, his foundation grew twice as deep in every respect.
His meridians widened, his acupoints expanded, and his Dantian Qi Sea deepened. Both the quantity and quality of his true qi had changed.
Now, the true qi within him showed faint signs of liquefying.
His true qi had grown so concentrated that the transformation was about to follow as naturally as water flowing into a channel.
Li Bufan burst out laughing.
"The Circulatory Stars Diagram can do this too!"
Before his laughter faded, he began circulating the Jade Liquid Chapter of the Five Elements Heaven Skill. The instant the technique started, the true qi in his meridians responded first, surging toward his dantian like soldiers answering a command.
All the true qi in his meridians poured into his dantian. Already dense, it grew denser still, until a faint mist rose within.
Next came his Qi Sea.
The two-hundred-zhang-wide Qi Sea shuddered, and the true qi stored within it came pouring out like a flood through a broken dam.
But that was not the end.
Li Bufan drew on the true qi in all three hundred and sixty acupoints and channeled it into his dantian. Stream after stream flowed out, converged there, and was absorbed by the Five-Colored Ring.
As the true qi drained from his acupoints, Li Bufan felt a wave of weakness. His body had been brimming with true qi; with all of it withdrawn, a sense of emptiness was only natural.
Fortunately, his physical body had already reached the Essence Liquid Realm and remained immensely powerful even without true qi to bolster it. The weakness lasted only a moment, and he endured it.
Time passed bit by bit.
