Background / History

Nüwa intervened when Ao Yi, son of the Dragon King, bullied a weaker child. Despite her young age, she defeated him, earning his resentment and setting the stage for further conflict between them. Suyao had helped guide her cultivation since childhood. 367

She later traveled to the East Sea, where Ao Yi attacked her in retaliation for his earlier defeat. Nüwa faced him courageously, but Suyao sensed her danger and arrived to suppress Ao Yi's assault and calm the sea. Shennong's anger at the attack raised the prospect of repercussions for the Dragon Race. 368

Nüwa is courageous and protective of those weaker than herself, confronting Ao Yi when he acted arrogantly toward another child. 367
