Federal structure

The Federation united the Various Countries under one government, removing explicit national borders and allowing travel between countries without passports. Individual national governments nevertheless continue to operate, making the Federation a united system rather than a fully centralized state. 32 491

History

The Federation emerged when the Various Countries united under a common government. While national governments and customs remained, the removal of formal borders created a unified era across Blue Star. 32 491

It developed human settlements in the Outer Domain, including Star Cities under Federation jurisdiction. These cities possess limited autonomy and are regarded as a potential refuge for humanity should Blue Star fall, though they may sever their connection to Blue Star in such a catastrophe. 163 276

For much of its history, the Federation fought defensive wars against the Different Races across the Eight Star Realms. It later began a major counteroffensive, seeking Northern Star’s resources to strengthen itself rather than remaining permanently passive. 251 340 462

The Federation captured the Giant Deer Star Realm after Chen Xia breached the Winged Race’s defensive line, killed Grandmaster Shi Wei, and led troops through the enemy teleportation array. The victory secured supplies, territory, and a major morale advantage. 401 410

After the Different Races flooded Blue Star through ancient teleportation arrays, the Federation cooperated with Chen Xia to reverse the water flow into Different Race territory. The counterattack enabled the Federation to seize supplies valued at more than one hundred trillion credits in non-strategic reserves alone. 422 433 441

Brant replaced Lei Qianren as Holy Lord amid widespread political campaigning and promises to eliminate the Different Race within five years. His administration escalated the war and attempted to centralize control, creating severe divisions within the Federation. 521 525 564

After Chen Xia defeated Brant and Farrell, the Federation’s Martial Saints elected him Holy Lord. Under his command, Federation forces launched a final full-scale offensive against Blackstone Mountain and ended the five-hundred-year war with the Different Race. 569 580 589

Following the victory, the Federation began establishing bases, cities, mining zones, and economic districts across Northern Mang. Captured Different Race survivors were used as laborers while the Federation extracted local resources for construction, research, and immigration. 589 592 624

After occupying Different Race territory, it acquired special soil, sand, and minerals suitable for technological cannons and spacecraft manufacturing. These materials accelerated work on next-generation fighters, spatial folding, laser systems, and new energy artillery. 590 624

Through cooperation with the Star Spirit Clan, the Federation received access to advanced energy, materials, biomedicine, information, aerospace, psionic, and starship technologies.
