History
Zhao Banshou accompanied members of the Gathering of Righteousness to confront Chen Xia at the Patrol Inspection Office at night. The group demanded that Chen return Yuangu Pills valued at 600,000 yuan, claiming that the pills had belonged to Zhao. Zhao stated that surveillance footage showed Chen taking them from Yu Banshou's body. 26
When Chen questioned whether Zhao's group had murdered Yu Banshou, Zhao denied it but did not pursue the accusation further. Captain Zhou Tong then arrived with patrol officers and made clear that the group could be arrested or sent to the Patrol Inspection Office's Criminal Prison. 26 27
Faced with Zhou Tong's authority and Chen's standing within the Patrol Inspection Office, Zhao immediately abandoned his demands, called the confrontation a misunderstanding, and apologized. 26
Zhao was later seen at Dragon Mountain alongside Cao Yi, the former leader of the Gathering Justice Mercenary Group, when Chen Xia visited the area. 139
