The moment Candle Dragon opened his eyes, the void beneath the entire dome abruptly froze.
Those crimson-gold eyes were like two blazing suns jolted awake. Wherever his gaze fell, gray-white light surged wildly, as though even spiritual energy itself trembled beneath his stare.
Rock's source covering had lasted only three breaths before completely dissipating.
Candle Dragon's senses suddenly exploded through the void, spreading madly in every direction like an invisible giant net.
He saw them.
That Green Clad Figure stood before the crack in the sealing pillar of light, the Chaos Bead revolving endlessly above his head.
That dark-red figure still had the residual aftershock of the shattered seal lingering around his fist.
And there was the figure slowly emerging from the crack, his aura so incomparably heavy that it seemed the entire spirit vein bent slightly beneath it.
Candle Dragon rose to his feet.
His enormous crimson-gold body slowly straightened beneath the dome, dark-gold scales colliding with a dull metallic clang.
He did not attack at once. He merely stood there, watching the four figures.
For countless eras, he had guarded this spirit vein and this seal. No one had ever reached this point beneath his very eyes.
Yet today, someone had passed through the Dark Vein, evaded his senses, and torn open the final crack in the seal right before him.
"You really came." Candle Dragon spoke quietly, but his voice was like subterranean thunder, making the gray-white light throughout the dome tremble faintly.
Xuandu stood before the sealing pillar, looking at the enormous figure rising before him, his gaze as calm as ever.
"I came for the final seal."
"If you intend to stop me, then make your move."
"But you should know that Void has awakened."
"All nine Chaos Beings have now returned to their places."
