That was right. Everyone knew that a series like Lelouch would become a sensation once it was brought over.

Chu Yu knew it, and so did the animation streaming sites that had acquired Lelouch...

But they had no idea just how big a sensation it would become. Still... there was no doubt it would be a huge hit.

That was what the streaming sites thought...

But when they discovered the next day that the whole internet was buzzing about Code Geass, and that a whole crowd of fans were furious with them for releasing episodes at a snail's pace, they were thrilled!

The response had been even better than expected. The angrier the fans were, and the more they tore into the sites in the comments for their shameless behavior, the more it proved just how powerfully Code Geass had affected them.

And with discussions of Lelouch flooding the internet, plenty of newcomers were sure to jump on the bandwagon.

While the sites were calculating how much they stood to earn from the series, their colleagues in the Japan Island Animation Industry were having a pretty rough time.

The past few months had been agonizing for them. First, several of Zhao Qinyin's works had appeared out of nowhere and crushed a whole slate of spring releases. Then a flood of Shui Xin's works had been brought over... creating a Shui Xin phenomenon across Japan Island.

That was right... Shui Xin's fans on Japan Island had already started gathering of their own accord, following the genius who had vanished from public view in the Mainland.

Some particularly fired-up fans had even posted that they were going to the Mainland to complain to the relevant authorities about Shui Xin's punishment, but they'd been politely shown the door...
