"Take care! Get in touch if anything comes up. Come visit when you have time, and Chu Yu and I will show you around!"

"Got it. You take care too, Gu Yan. Relax, and don't let that big jerk Chu Yu get to you!"

At the airport, Gu Yan saw Su Ruo and Zhao Qinyin off, then sighed in resignation.

"Am I an idiot or what?" Gu Yan muttered, annoyed with herself.

After taking care of their business, Su Ruo and Zhao Qinyin had stayed in Modu for four days.

Gu Yan had spent most of those four days with them. She'd even gone out of her way to catch up on palace-intrigue dramas and bought some dating guides and a handbook on how to deal with mistresses.

But she hadn't put any of the tricks in them to use. After all... Gu Yan was a good-natured person.

And Su Ruo and Zhao Qinyin felt guilty, so they'd been incredibly nice to her.
