While the opening song played, the audience kept posting Danmu until the whole screen was packed. It only cleared up a little once the story officially began.

After that impressive opening, the scene shifted to the male lead, Okazaki Tomoya, arriving at his dorm.

It opened with the resident comic relief, Sunohara Youhei, getting beaten up by everyone, before the pretty dorm supervisor, Sagara Misae, stepped in to break it up. And then there was one of the foreshadowed mysteries... Sagara Misae's cat!

Then came the robot's monologue in the End of the World... and the appearance of the girl there.

The foreshadowing began in the very first episode. The story of the robot and the girl in the End of the World ran throughout the series, and audiences wouldn't understand why the anime included those scenes until its final episode aired.

For now, though, viewers were completely baffled...

Honestly, there were too many characters. So many had appeared in just two minutes.

That was Xiao Ruo's first reaction... The scene changes also seemed a little too frequent.

Still, it wasn't too bad...
