Actually, for Zhao Qinyin's die-hard fans, even though CNNAD's opening hadn't been all that interesting, it was still pretty decent! It was better than over ninety percent of the anime that had aired since October. It was just that everyone's expectations had been too high, so the contrast gave them something to complain about online.

But what were these media outlets even talking about?

"Worthless from start to finish," "painful to watch"? Was CNNAD really that bad? Didn't they feel bad saying things like that?

And Qingxian—how could anyone praise that series? Its idiotic plot was making me sick, and yet plenty of students seemed to like it... Were there really so many clueless anime fans in the Animation Industry now?

She was adorable, sweet, and naturally cute. She trusted people easily and got pranked by the male lead. And she worked so hard carving Wooden Starfish to give to all her classmates, hoping they'd come to her sister's wedding. She was a little silly, but it was still kind of heartwarming.

How could it be as bad as those media reports made it out to be?

Zhao Qinyin's fans were serious about this, too. It was fine to point out flaws in the series, but don't make stuff up just to trash it, okay?
