In the original game of CNNAD, Ibuki Fuko, Fujibayashi Kyou, Fujibayashi Ryou, and Sakagami Tomoyo were heroines in their respective routes. For example, the story in the Fuko Arc of the anime was actually the central plot of Fuko's route in the game!

Since the different routes in CNNAD weren't independent of one another, telling Furukawa Nagisa's story in full meant the other routes couldn't be ignored, either.

So in the anime adaptation, the romantic scenes between the male lead, Okazaki Tomoya, and the various female characters in their routes were cut. The main storylines were kept, and Furukawa Nagisa and Okazaki Tomoya were made to work through those events together, bringing them closer while moving the plot forward!

Compared with the original game, this approach left out many details, making the anime less entertaining.

But as the saying went, you didn't know how bad something was until you had something to compare it to!

In the Parallel World, CNNAD's anime adaptation had plenty of flaws in the eyes of fans of the original game... But this world had no original game, and Chu Yu had learned from the shortcomings people criticized in the Parallel World's adaptation, making changes to the details. Since he already knew what anime fans in the Parallel World had complained about, it was only sensible to avoid those problems in advance, whether fans in Dragon Country would notice them or not!
