After the calendar turned to late April, the weather began to heat up. For the first week or two after Chu Yu returned to Japan Island, he'd been incredibly excited about the company's new headquarters!
But as time passed, the novelty wore off. The company had more employees, the office was bigger, and the whole place seemed a bit more impressive!
Then, after he became the owner of the entire building, the security staff and property managers treated him completely differently. A section of the underground parking lot had been set aside for employees of GT Animation Studio. The staff were fairly well-behaved, as was customary for Japanese people, but Chu Yu parked across multiple spots or at an angle, sometimes right in the driving lane. He could take up several spaces with one car and nobody dared complain. That part was pretty satisfying!
The building had eleven floors, and GT Animation Studio used only two of them. The rest were all rented out, giving Chu Yu a new identity as a landlord!
Once he got used to it, it didn't seem like such a big deal. But in Tokyo's Animation Industry, people's perception of GT Animation Studio changed quite a bit after the company moved its headquarters.
After all, although the animation industry was booming in Dragon Country, animation studios weren't usually the ones making the most money. Many famous animation companies in Tokyo still worked out of relatively modest offices. There were very few companies like GT Animation Studio, whose boss had bought an entire building to use as its headquarters!
Once the news spread, GT Animation Studio undoubtedly became much more appealing to people working in Tokyo's animation circles.
