At computers across the country, countless Attack on Titan fans watched Mikasa's moment of self-redemption!
The plot where Mikasa died out of love for Eren was certainly moving, but seeing her instinctively fight to survive in the face of death, simply because she wanted to keep Eren, the protagonist, in her heart, made many viewers feel like her character had been elevated to a whole new level!
Standing on the ground, facing two Titans, one in front of her and one behind, Mikasa cried as she took up an offensive stance!
So when the Titan behind Mikasa brought its foot down hard beside her, the ground shook beneath her. The Titan threw an enraged punch that knocked down the one in front of her, then stomped on its neck again and again until it was completely dead. Then it threw its head back and roared.

"A Titan fighting another Titan? An Abnormal Titan? Did my girl Mikasa just get saved? That's not scientific! Could Mikasa actually be the protagonist? This kind of protagonist-level miracle should've happened when Eren was eaten, shouldn't it? How did Mikasa get so lucky?"
"Thank goodness Armin rushed over and got my girl up onto the roof!"
"I'm understanding Attack on Titan less and less, but seriously, Mikasa's such a moving character! Eren's dead anyway, so she might as well be my wife!"
"Holy crap, the Titan that saved Mikasa knows how to fight? It even knows the weak spot on the back of a Titan's neck? Is that for real?"
"No way. That Abnormal Titan is obviously weird! Something's off about it!"
"That BGM at the end of Chapter Seven, paired with Mikasa's flashback, was just incredible! Which industry big shot composed Attack on Titan's BGM? It feels like the music alone
