It was finally finished. There wasn't much to say in a closing note, but everyone else wrote one, so I figured I might as well!
I'd first come up with this book two years ago, after writing over a hundred thousand words of my previous one. It had been signed, but for some reason—maybe the plot or something else—it never got recommended, and I never got added on QQ by the editor. So it languished for a while! At the time, though, I thought my writing wasn't good enough and that the editor had regretted signing me and was deliberately ignoring me. So I started this book to get some practice!
I never expected that practice to take over a year and a half!
Along the way, some people showed up and some people left, but I'm grateful to everyone who stuck around to read this closing note!
By the later chapters, most of the readers had indeed drifted away. I may be pretty laid-back about things. Even though I thought finishing quickly and starting a new book might be much better than keeping this one going, I knew people were still voting for it every day, giving it monthly votes and sending me rewards. So I kept writing!
