"What a coincidence?"
Gu Chen glanced once more toward the sky, then turned and headed for the Far North.
What he needed to consider now was not anything else, but his own condition.
So the question was, once his injuries had healed, could he clash with the Universal Laws again?
Of course not.
Relying on bitter cultivation alone, it was impossible to make tremendous progress in a short time.
So how should he handle this?
Gu Chen had no solution for the time being.
Unless he went to another world...
That did not seem impossible.
But for now, he had to take a look at the thing that had caught his attention.
"Come, let me see."
Gu Chen turned into energy and vanished.
When he reappeared, he was atop a snow-covered mountain.
With a casual wave, Gu Chen swept aside the snow and looked at the pale-blue orb of light emitting a faint icy aura. A flicker of surprise passed through his eyes.
He reached out, intending to poke it, but his finger passed straight through.
In his energy form, he had no physical body.
This cluster of energy, which had yet to develop consciousness, seemed to sense Gu Chen's presence as well and trembled almost imperceptibly.
"So it has only just formed. Who knows how long it will take before it gains consciousness."
Gu Chen was somewhat disappointed.
After all, in his own timeline, this sovereign of the Far North had been taken away by Dai Zhongxian ten thousand years later.
Then Gu Chen had taken her away in passing.
She should still be inside the Chaos Cauldron now.
When he returned, he would release her while he was at it.
He just did not know how to arrange things.
After all, he did not need two Snow Empresses
