As its name suggested, it was a rare treasure that could store a portion of a cultivator's power.

A Talisman Treasure was refined when most Golden Core cultivators had reached the end of their Immortal Path and could make no further progress, when they could no longer break through and could only enjoy their remaining years without a Life-Bound Magic Treasure, or when their end was near. They would split off the power of their Life-Bound Magic Treasure and use it to refine a Talisman Treasure.

A Thought Attachment Bead was different, because its power had no upper limit!
