At that moment, Situ Xuan stood in the center of the valley.
Beneath his feet lay gray-black bone powder. Above his head was a gloomy sky. Around him, mountains towered into the clouds. There was no sunlight, no wind, no sound—only a deathly stillness.

Bone powder sprang up from the ground, shattered stones rolled down the slopes, and an increasingly dense sense of oppression filled the air.
A colossal creature walked out from the depths of the valley.
It was a tiger, a tiger ten times larger than an ordinary one. Its body was over ten meters long, its shoulder nearly three meters high. Its entire form was dark purple and translucent, faintly revealing the scenery behind it. Its eyes were two clusters of dark red flame, leaping within its sockets and giving off an eerie glow. Black mist coiled around its body in strand after strand, moving across its surface as if alive, occasionally stretching out tendril-like branches to probe its surroundings.
Nether Night Tiger.
This Nether Night Tiger was larger than any Situ Xuan had encountered before. The dark purple light on its body was deeper, the black mist coiling around it thicker, and those two dark red flaming eyes brighter as well. Its strength was roughly equivalent to that of a ten-thousand-year Soul Beast.
The Nether Night Tiger's low growl echoed through the valley. The sound did not seem to come from its throat, but rather rang directly within the mind. It strode toward Situ Xuan, each step making the ground tremble faintly. Its tail lashed behind it, leaving a black afterimage in the air with every swing.
Situ Xuan stood where he was, watching the Nether Night Tiger
