Fierce Beasts Return

The five raised their hands at the same time, and ten beams of light shot violently from their palms, striking the edges of the pitch-black rift. At once, the rift, which was grinding against those two enormous black claws, was propped up and stabilized.

A low dragon's roar sounded from within the pitch-black rift. Those two massive claws suddenly pulled outward, and the rift was instantly torn open to twice its size. An enormous body slowly squeezed out of the crack.

At first, only a head emerged. It was a gigantic dragon head, jet-black all over, yet its eyes were a brilliant golden color. That deep gold seemed capable of piercing through the entire world. The head alone was dozens of meters tall.

Its two enormous claws braced outward with a violent shove, and two more dragon claws appeared below, supporting the rift. Its colossal body finally began to force its way in.

"Ang—" The black dragon raised its head and roared furiously. The surrounding Dragon Cloud suddenly surged madly toward it, drawn into its body. The black dragon's aura instantly soared, and with a fierce struggle, it finally broke free from the rift.

Its enormous body, fully a hundred zhang long, spread its wings and blotted out the sky. Around the giant black dragon's body spread a layer of purplish-black radiance like a domain. All the Dragon Cloud within several hundred thousand square meters descended, clearly submitting to its aura.

The massive black dragon's body rapidly shrank, then descended from the sky. By the time it landed on the ground, it had already transformed into a tall, handsome middle-aged man.

Black hair fell along both sides of his head, parted down the middle and draped over his shoulders, while a lock of golden hair hung slightly left of center.
