"Hmm?" Feng Jun perked up at Good Scenery's words.
In their past conversations, having dinner... had never meant merely eating dinner.
But he also had to guard against Good Scenery fooling him. What if it really was just a meal? Wouldn't he be getting excited for nothing?
So he glanced at her. "Mm, dinner... After afternoon tea, do you still have room in your stomach?"
"We can have a late-night snack," Good Scenery replied without hesitation—though she somehow hesitated as she said it. "Seriously, dinner won't work for me. I have two classes tonight. Once they're over, I can go get a late-night snack with you."
Feng Jun shot her a sidelong look and spoke with a faint smile. "I feel like that logic is a little confused..."
"If I prove my ability to predict things, that means I didn't lie to you, so you shouldn't doubt me... I beat you, and then I still have to buy you a late-night snack. Does that seem right?"
Good Scenery answered indifferently, "I can treat you. How much could a late-night snack cost?"
Feng Jun smiled and shook his head, speaking slowly. "You know that isn't what I wanted to hear."
Good Scenery's face instantly flushed red, but she did not realize she had given herself away. She put on an unconcerned expression. "Forget all that. Show me what you can do first. You're a grown man—are you just going to talk?"
"Of course," Feng Jun said with a smile and nod, picking up his phone. "If you can act, don't waste time talking..."
He swiped across the screen a couple of times, then put the phone down again. He softly murmured, "Eh?" and looked in a certain direction.
Feng Jun had made a new discovery.
