Power Progression
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Liaoliao Farm awakening | 2 | After the lightning strike, Feng Jun physically enters Liaoliao Farm to harvest forage; seven hours inside amount to roughly half an hour outside. |
| Stone Ring Mark activation | 3–4 | His Stone Ring disappears and leaves a cyan wrist mark. Absorbed electrical current deepens the mark and enables further entry into the Farm. |
| Spirit-stone charge | 9 | Absorbs a ruby-like “spirit stone,” leaving the mark deep blue-purple. He estimates the charge at roughly 100 self-defined energy points. |
| Rebuilt electrical reserve | 40 | Three days of generator charging raises his reserve from about 25 to more than 50 energy points. |
| Near-full reserve | 42 | Five additional days of charging bring his reserve to nearly 100 energy points. |
| Extended reserve | 50 | After more than ten days at the villa, his estimated energy reserve approaches 300 points; the mark appears almost black. |
Background / History
During a university internship three years before the story, Feng Jun found a dense, dark-cyan Stone Ring in a ruined pagoda forest in Ningpo Mountain. He wore it continuously because it remained cool in hot weather. 3
At twenty-four, Feng Jun was a Xiayang University graduate with double degrees in linguistics and business administration. After spending two years in a southern city where his former girlfriend lived, he came to Yang City alone and took a low-ranking job at Hongjie Fitness Club. 1
A citywide lightning storm strikes him and alters both his old phone and the Stone Ring. The ring vanishes into a cyan mark on his left wrist, while the phone becomes a gateway to Liaoliao Farm and later to multiple app-derived spaces. 2 3 7
Appearance
Feng Jun begins as a sturdy but slightly chubby man, approximately 1.73 meters tall and 150 jin. His encounters steadily make him taller, leaner, and more composed; he later reaches about 1.78 meters and weighs just over 130 jin. 4 27
- Thick eyebrows, large eyes, and sharp facial features. 27
- His formerly rounder face becomes slimmer as his physique changes. 10 27
- A blue-purple Stone Ring Mark sits near the back of his left wrist; after prolonged charging, it darkens until it nearly appears black. 9 50
- His changed build and temperament make acquaintances initially struggle to recognize him. 10 16
Personality
Feng Jun is proud, stubborn, and highly sensitive to being looked down upon because of poverty or his low-status work. He refuses to beg for reinstatement at Hongjie even after learning that outside pressure caused his dismissal. 1 18 39
He approaches his supernatural circumstances with a mixture of imagination and practical experimentation. Although he draws heavily on web-novel logic, he quantifies his energy usage, tests electrical charging methods, and invests in supplies before taking greater risks. 9 19 20
He is cautious in business and survival matters, but also decisive once he has committed to a course of action. He avoids suspicious offers, changes vehicles to reduce risk, and refuses to compromise when a deal threatens his interests. 13 31 33
Feng Jun also has a mischievous side. He uses his access to Liaoliao-derived spaces to win social bets, though he recognizes that invading others’ privacy is an ability best left unused unless necessary. 45 47
Abilities & Skills
App-Space Traversal
Feng Jun can enter physical spaces derived from apps on his phone, primarily through left-hand interaction with the screen.
- Liaoliao Farm first transports him into a farm-like space where he physically harvests crops. 2 4
- He discovers a desolate Wilderness Space containing village ruins, hostile creatures, valuable jade, and signs of a cultivation world. 7 8 24
- Time outside stops while he enters the Wilderness Space. 7
- He can transport real-world objects into and out of the Wilderness Space, though larger cargo consumes substantial energy. 7 24
- App-linked spaces include game worlds, novel spaces, and private Liaoliao-associated rooms. 40 41 45
Energy Absorption and Storage
The Stone Ring Mark acts as Feng Jun’s energy reserve and powers his space travel.
- He absorbs energy from electrical current with little immediate harm, including 220-volt AC power, though ordinary charging is slow and inefficient. 19 20
- A ruby-like spirit stone provides a vastly stronger charge than electricity, but crumbles after its energy is absorbed. 9
- His energy-point system is self-defined and approximate rather than an established cultivation ranking. 9 18
- Transporting cargo and repeatedly entering spaces rapidly depletes his reserve. 18 24 42
Application-Derived Exploration
Feng Jun can access the content and environments of certain phone applications in tangible form.
- He enters the mobile game Xunqing Xianshi, interacts with NPCs and players, and learns a spear technique within the game world. 40
- Attempts to extract game manuals and equipment into reality fail, wasting energy points. 41
- An e-book from the Qidian app becomes a physical book when he enters its associated “Xianxia” space. 41
- He enters a Liaoliao-associated room connected to Hao Fengjing’s account and accesses her visible Moments and active camera feed. 45
Combat and Physical Conditioning
Before gaining his powers, Feng Jun was already experienced in long-distance running, swimming, and combat. 4
- He defeats Liu Shuming and two accomplices while rescuing a woman from an alley assault. 10
- His enhanced physique improves his strength, agility, endurance, and reaction speed. 10 24 27
- He kills two venom-spraying scorpion-like creatures in the Wilderness Space with a kukri despite their exceptional durability. 24
- He remains vulnerable to the Wilderness Space’s larger creatures and avoids direct confrontation with the ape and hedgehog-like beast. 27 43
Trading and Appraisal
Feng Jun develops practical commercial instincts while monetizing materials recovered from the Wilderness Space.
- He uses a magnifying glass to inspect a suspected jade boulder before bringing it back. 26
- He sells a damaged jade box for 60,000 yuan and a large mutton-fat jade boulder for 6 million yuan. 32
- He avoids selling through Jubaozhai after learning of Wang Weimin’s involvement, instead dealing with Manager Liang of Henglong Jewelry. 31 32
- He remains wary of offers that could compromise his independence or expose his source of goods. 33 38
