Having gone through three major exams in succession—the Unanimous Special Exam, the Cultural Festival, and the Sports Festival—many of them were exhausted in both body and mind. This was the perfect chance to unwind.

Changing the subject, Chabashira added sternly, "I'm sure you already know that if you fail the final exams and don't purchase points in advance, you'll be expelled. You also won't be able to participate in the upcoming educational trip."

The screen displayed the rankings for the entire class.

Last place was Hondo Ryotaro, with an average score of 53.

Second to last was Ike Kanji, with an average score of 56.

Those two were practically fixtures in the bottom two spots.

Still, neither of them looked particularly dejected. At Advanced Nurturing High School, the passing line was half the class average, and both of them had cleared it. Participating in the educational trip starting tomorrow shouldn't be much of a problem.

Shimizu Akira turned his attention to the top five.

First place: Kouenji Rokusuke, average score of 98.

Second place: Yukimura Teruhiko, average score of 97.

Third place: Horikita Suzune, average score of 96.

"Why did Kouenji suddenly start studying seriously again?"

"Yeah! It's not like getting first place on the final exam comes with any special reward."

None of the students found Kouenji Rokusuke taking first place particularly surprising. The guy was a short sleeper who needed only three or four hours of sleep a day to stay full of energy, and on top of that, he was a genius. Ordinary people simply couldn't compare.

They just didn't understand why he had decided to put in the effort.
