Background / History

Dali was an early Divine Guard player who quickly distinguished himself through durability, boldness, and a willingness to test dangerous routes first. He boarded the first Crimson Boat by launching himself onto its elastic surface, then encouraged other players to follow. During a high-energy aether flow, he helped ignite flammable gas by smashing his Bone Hammer against another Divine Guard’s chitin armor, creating the spark needed for an explosion. 4

By the early Storm Abyss campaign, he had assembled piecemeal Chitin Plate Armor and a large Bone Hammer, sold High-Energy Amber Essence to newcomers, and directed them toward low-level Void Dust Mites and Sludge Monsters rather than lethal high-level areas. 6 He later suffered an experience loss after dying against the Flame Poison Golem, reinforcing his dislike of unnecessary deaths and lost progress. 10 109

After reaching LV.10 during the defeat of Living Flame: Ember, Dali undertook a magma-based advancement trial. Dali is direct, excitable, and physically fearless when an opportunity or challenge is in front of him. He frequently responds to danger with blunt enthusiasm, whether leaping onto an unfamiliar Crimson Boat, volunteering to smash through obstacles, or declaring that the team should simply “wreck” an enemy. 4 12 75

Despite complaining openly about painful or lethal tasks, he repeatedly accepts them for his teammates and for potential rewards. He initially resisted diving into the magma sea, but ultimately committed after the squad prepared Life Link, healing, shielding, and speed support for him. 181
