Power Progression

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Hunter, LV.1 2 3 Selects the Hunter evolutionary path: a high-speed assassin and weak-point breaker. Starts with high Agility but low Constitution and Spirit.
LV.2 3 Levels up after the First Blood battle and invests both free points into Agility, raising it from 9 to 12.
Ghost Blade 10 Completes the Advanced Trial as the server’s first class advancer, choosing the hard Ghost Blade path over Venom Ranger.
Neural Sequence, Tier 1 30 Invests fully into the Neural Path, unlocking Synaptic Acceleration and Hunting Instinct for extreme reaction speed and weak-point perception.
Bullet Time 40 At LV.23, becomes the first player to unlock a second-tier talent; briefly accelerates thought until the world appears nearly stationary.
Micron-level Manipulation 47 Gains passive, micron-level control over his muscles, sharply improving evasion and critical-hit correction.
Intermediate Synaptic Acceleration 47 Upgrades his neural processing to handle multiple threads simultaneously; its reality projection doubles thought speed.
LV.30 57 Becomes the first player on the server to reach LV.30, unlocking the third-order talent tree and LV.30 access to diluted Titan Blood.
Flash Step, LV.32 65 66 Spends five potential points to unlock short-range spatial warping, fundamentally changing his mobility and assassination options.
Pain Stripping, LV.37 98 Can continue acting for five seconds after a near-fatal injury, with all damage doubled during that period.
Neural Pierce, LV.39 147 Ignores part of a target’s physical defense and can force stun or stiffness effects.
Hidden second advancement: Void Walker / Abyssal Titan, LV.40 157 158 Frequent Flash Step use unlocks the hidden Void Walker advancement; the subsequent transformation manifests as the dark-armored Abyssal Titan.
Void Control: Blade of Annihilation 203 Uses Void Warp to bypass defenses and Blade of Annihilation to erase an enemy’s shadow shield before killing them.

Background / History

Chen Feng was once a professional player at the pinnacle of the God’s Domain league, where he was known as the “God of Combat.” Synaptic Response Delay Syndrome reduced his actions per minute from 600 to 300, ending his professional prospects and leaving him unable to reliably control his hands. 2

In 2045, Chen accepted a mysterious prompt asking whether he wished to “understand the meaning of life” and was transported to the Heart Core Sanctuary. He chose the Hunter path because it offered the high-speed control and assassination style he had lost in reality. 2

His first battle against the Void Locusts exposed the gap between his experience and his new LV.1 body: his judgment was still elite, but his body lagged behind his thoughts. He adapted rather than forcing flashy plays, using his bone blades and agility to survive and level up. 3

After becoming the first player to advance at LV.10, Chen consumed diluted Titan Blood. The item repaired his damaged nervous system in reality, restoring his hand control beyond his former professional peak. He then destroyed his application to return to professional gaming and committed himself fully to Titan: Genesis. 10 11

Appearance

Chen’s Titan Kin body initially resembles a black, chitin-armored Hunter built for speed and close-quarters killing. After his second advancement, he manifests black armor threaded with dark-purple, abyss-like light patterns. 2 158

  • Pitch-black claws with an obsidian-like sheen. 2
  • Black chitinous faceplate. 2
  • Retractable arm-mounted bone blades. 2
  • Abyssal Titan armor that projects an oppressive, predatory aura. 158

Personality

Chen Feng is intensely competitive and power-driven, viewing difficult enemies as challenges to be overcome rather than reasons to retreat. The loss of his professional career left him bitter and exhausted, but Titan Kin combat reignited his confidence and desire to surpass his former limits. 2 9

As Dawn’s leader, he is pragmatic about power, resources, and long-term planning. He favors retaining combat superiority and technical knowledge while cooperating with wealthier factions when doing so strengthens Dawn instead of compromising its independence. 23

He can also be cold toward players who abuse their power in reality. During Liu Biao’s hostage incident, Chen dismissed the rampaging player as unworthy of remaining in Titan: Genesis. 38

Abilities & Skills

Hunter / Ghost Blade Combat

Chen specializes in high-speed melee assassination, exploiting anatomical weaknesses with precise strikes rather than trading blows.

  • Uses Hunting Instinct to identify joints, ligaments, nerves, cores, and other lethal weak points. 30 70
  • Can rapidly dismember enemies whose health or defenses are too great to overcome through direct damage. 70
  • Defeated the LV.40 Emerald Ritual Beast in two seconds. 133
  • His Ghost Blade build is a glass cannon: he can overwhelm similarly leveled enemies, but has very little margin for error against heavy attacks. 57

Neural Sequence

Chen’s defining talent path enhances perception, thought speed, and body control.

  • Synaptic Acceleration slows his subjective perception of combat, allowing him to react to attacks frame by frame. 30 31
  • Bullet Time grants three seconds of extreme thought acceleration. 41
  • Micron-level Manipulation gives precise control over each muscle, improving evasive movement and strike correction. 41
  • Intermediate Synaptic Acceleration allows multi-threaded processing and makes minute battlefield details perceptible. 47
  • Lethal Tempo enables instinctive defensive and offensive reactions, including deflecting supersonic projectiles with a wooden stick. 86

Flash Step

Flash Step is Chen’s Tier 3 mobility talent, allowing explosive short-range spatial displacement.

  • Lets him bypass terrain, directly reach vulnerable backline positions, and create attack openings without following a normal movement path. 57 66
  • Supports chained aerial repositioning and rapid dismemberment attacks. 70
  • In reality, he crossed 30 meters almost instantaneously and shattered a reinforced dummy. 65
  • Its reality projection places enormous strain on his legs and quickly exhausts him. 65

Pain Stripping and Neural Pierce

These later talents allow Chen to remain lethal even while severely injured.

  • Pain Stripping gives him five seconds of action after a fatal injury and doubles his damage output. 98 99
  • While impaled through the heart, he used Pain Stripping, Flash Step, and boosted critical damage to destroy a large number of Void Devouring Insect eggs. 99
  • Neural Pierce partially ignores physical defense and can impose forced stiffness or stun. 147

Void Walker / Abyssal Titan

At LV.40, Chen gains a hidden second advancement tied to his repeated use of Flash Step.

  • Void Warp enables spatial movement against high-level opponents. 203
  • Blade of Annihilation ignores defenses and erases shadow shields before striking the target. 203
  • His Abyssal Titan transformation gives him black armor and an aura potent enough to unsettle other elite Titan Kin. 158

Reality Projection

Chen’s game progression directly enhances his real body.

  • Diluted Titan Blood repaired his synaptic disorder and restored fine motor control. 10
  • At low synchronization, he developed sharpened perception and instinctive superhuman speed. 27
  • At 10% synchronization after LV.40, he could accidentally break the sound barrier and max out a pressure-testing machine despite never investing in the Flesh Sequence. 164

Mecha Piloting

Chen was the first player to pilot the bio-mecha Titan’s Fist.

  • His assigned configuration used a Chainsaw Thermal Blade and back thrusters. 42
  • Used Bullet Time to maneuver the mecha through the Flame Demon Lord’s defenses and break its obsidian armor. 42
  • Activated Overload Mode to destroy the Flame Demon Lord’s exposed Magma Heart. 43
  • His mecha was later destroyed during a monster assault, prompting him to focus more heavily on personal combat power. 47

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Starter Bone Blades — Retractable Hunter arm blades; Chen repaired and sharpened them with a High-Hardness Whetstone. 2 4
  • Origin Fang — Primary dagger used for weak-point strikes, boss-core attacks, and dismemberment. 30 31 70
