"Damn it, still not working?"
Orochimaru watched the test subject before him with a cold, sinister gaze.
A patch of grayish-white skin spread wildly from the subject's chest. No matter how Orochimaru tried to salvage the situation, he could not stop the Hashirama Cells from spreading.
In the end, the Hashirama Cells devoured the entire body and absorbed it as nourishment.
A tender sprout emerged from the test subject's chest. The next second, it instantly grew into a towering tree!
Orochimaru had expected this. He drew the Kusanagi Sword and swiftly severed the branches lashing toward him.
Then he pulled out a scroll and used a Sealing Technique to seal the test subject into it.
He had done this sort of thing more times than he could count.

Danzo had sent a total of one hundred test subjects, all of them high-quality specimens.
Danzo had not lied about that. After all, he desired the emergence of a new Wood Release ninja even more than Orochimaru did.

But what frustrated Orochimaru was that they showed no sign of merging with the Hashirama Cells. They merely held out a little longer.
"Other than the Sharingan, is there really no other way to restrain Wood Release?"
"Why can the Sharingan restrain Wood Release? Is it truly the fated destiny between the Uchiha Clan and the Senju Clan?"
Orochimaru continued pondering, but limited by
