Iwagakure.
After Kurotsuchi returned from Deidara's place, she had been waiting for good news, but several days passed without the slightest word.
"Could Big Brother have failed?"
Kurotsuchi found it hard to believe.
After mastering Explosive Clay, Deidara was an outstanding ninja who could move freely across land, sea, and air!
Looking across the vast Iwagakure, there were many ninja capable of defeating Deidara, but very few who could defeat him and capture him!
Kurotsuchi told herself to wait patiently, but as time passed, she grew more and more uneasy.
Finally, unable to bear it any longer, she went to find the Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki.
The reason she did not go to her father, Kurotsuchi, was that she was afraid of getting beaten up.
As for Ōnoki, her grandfather, it was already good enough if she did not bully him.
The Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki, was working at the time. Seeing his precious granddaughter enter, he hurriedly set aside his work and smiled kindly. "Kurotsuchi, what brings you here? Is there something you don't understand about training?"
"Of course not. I'm a genius—how could I possibly have problems with training? Hehe, Grandpa, there's something I want to tell you." Kurotsuchi approached with a grin.
Ōnoki immediately looked wary. "What did you call me?"
"Grandpa, of course." Kurotsuchi blinked her innocent eyes at him.
"You've always called me 'old man,' 'old man.'" Ōnoki sighed. "Every time you call me Grandpa, it means you've gotten into trouble."
Kurotsuchi scratched her head awkwardly, then spilled everything about Deidara in one breath.
Ōnoki's expression immediately darkened as he rebuked her, "Kurotsuchi, how many times have I told you? You are not allowed to associate with that brat Deidara!"
"But he is my senior brother," Kurotsuchi said aggrievedly.
"That makes him a terrorist too!" Ōnoki snapped.
