In the largely collapsed underground laboratory, Gari, the Explosion Release ninja, lay silently on a wooden bed with his eyes shut, thin streams of blood seeping from the corners of his mouth.

A massive lump of flesh hung from his chest, constantly writhing as though alive, slowly devouring Gari's body bit by bit. From a distance, it looked hideously grotesque and revolting!

Gari's eyes remained closed. He had already fallen into the deepest level of unconsciousness.

At the far left of the wooden bed, near the wall, stood a row of enormous glass test tubes filled with pale green liquid. Inside were freaks even more twisted than deformities, and even monsters fused from humans and beasts. All of them were products of Hiruko's human experiments!

Now, Hiruko was finally personally testing the Chimera!

Half a day passed, and the enormous lump of flesh had covered most of Gari's body, even swallowing his head inside.

Another three days passed, and the massive flesh lump had completely devoured Gari. At this point, only that enormous lump remained on the wooden bed.

A sound like a beating heart came from within the flesh lump, piercingly loud in the empty laboratory.

Soon, fleshy tendrils like sprouts emerged from the lump, swaying like seaweed.

Before long, the seaweed-like tendrils grew larger and larger, until they finally tore open the flesh lump. A thin young man covered in bloody strands crawled out from inside!

"It worked, it worked!!!"

Hiruko was overwhelmed with joy as he looked himself over from head to toe. He found that his body seemed much thinner and smaller than before, but compared to obtaining the Kekkei Genkai of Explosion Release, he did not care about such minor bodily changes at all!
