Fleeing Swiftly

"What... what did you just say?! Say that again!"

Ōnoki said coldly, his face dark.

The Anbu froze, then hurriedly dropped to one knee and said respectfully, "Lord Tsuchikage, I only..."

"Speak!" Ōnoki was so furious that even his nose had turned rosy red.

"I-I said that the moon was covered by dark clouds tonight, so, so..." The Anbu was utterly baffled.

Ōnoki and Kurotsuchi looked up at the bright full moon hanging in the night sky, then exchanged glances.

"Grandfather, could it be..." Kurotsuchi had a bad feeling.

Ōnoki nodded. "Yes, it's very likely Genjutsu!"

His face darkened as he floated above the Anbu, placing one hand on his shoulder and channeling Chakra into him.

Very soon, the Anbu shuddered all over and noticed something was wrong.

Why had it become so bright all around him?

He looked up at the night sky, and the dazzling moonlight nearly blinded him!

"How is this possible? I-I..." The Anbu's mouth went dry. Just now, a huge dark cloud had clearly been blocking the moon!

Ōnoki snorted coldly and roared, "What are you standing around for? Go see whether that bastard Deidara is still there!"

The Anbu snapped out of it. How could he dare hesitate? He immediately rushed off.

Before long, Ōnoki's home became a hive of activity.

"Damn it, it was Genjutsu! When was I caught in Genjutsu?!"

"It was definitely Uchiha Houka, that bastard!"

"This is bad, Deidara is gone!"

"How is that possible? If the barrier had been broken, why didn't the alarm sound?"

"It was opened from the inside. Strange, wasn't Deidara tied up by us?!"

The Anbu were both shocked and enraged. They swiftly investigated the area and soon discovered the traces left behind by Houka and Deidara.
