In a forest outside bridge builder Tazuna's home, Naruto and Sasuke were practicing tree climbing, their bodies covered in bruises and injuries.
Thanks to her excellent Chakra control, Sakura had practically mastered tree climbing and water walking the moment she learned them. So she had turned into a cheerleader, wildly cheering Sasuke on every day.
Hearing the goddess of his dreams cheering for another man, Naruto's emotions surged, his Chakra instantly fell into disarray, and he tumbled from the tree, crashing hard onto the grass.
"Damn it, Sasuke, this is all your fault!" Naruto didn't dare vent his anger on Sakura, so he could only redirect his hatred.
Uchiha Sasuke glanced down at him from above. There was not a trace of emotion on his cold face. But when he planted a foot on the trunk, slipped slightly, and ended up crashing to the ground just as hard as Naruto, it became clear that this pretentious bastard still had a long way to go.
"Naruto, can't you shut up while we're practicing? You're way too noisy!" Uchiha Sasuke said irritably.
"Bastard!!" Naruto was furious.
In fact, Houka had taught Naruto tree climbing and water walking years ago. But the Nine-Tails inside him was a little mischievous, keeping his Chakra in a disordered state. So even though he had long mastered both skills, he now had no choice but to practice them again alongside Uchiha Sasuke.
However, under the Nine-Tails' interference, Naruto's training results were far from ideal.
With Sakura egging them on, the conflict between Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke erupted once again. In the end, they stormed off in anger... ahem, ran off to practice alone.
To make the goddess in his heart notice him, and to prove himself, Naruto trained frantically until late into the night.
