An undulating Emerald Green Mountain Range stretched across the land. From deep within the mountains came a series of ear-splitting explosions. A massive ball of Golden Light shot into the sky, making the earth tremble and the mountains shake as dust filled the air.
A Golden Escape Light flew out from the depths of the mountain range at tremendous speed.
"Trying to run? Did you ask us first?"
A cold, emotionless man's voice rang out.
As soon as the words fell, the void rippled, and a massive Red Giant Hand appeared out of nowhere, slamming toward the Golden Escape Light.
The Golden Escape Light slowed, revealing a tall golden-robed youth. His right leg had vanished, blood pouring from the wound, while terror filled his eyes.
Golden Light blazed from the golden-robed youth's right hand. He slapped it toward the top of his head, and with a flash, a Golden Giant Palm appeared and collided with the Red Giant Hand. Both perished together, while airwaves surged like the tide.
A piercing shriek sounded, followed by a Crimson Sound Wave that swept forward. Wherever it passed, mountain peaks exploded one after another, and vegetation was ground into fragments.
The Red Sound Wave quickly reached the golden-robed youth. The instant he heard it, his head spun and his mind reeled. With nowhere to flee, he could only summon a Golden Shield before himself.
The Red Sound Wave swept past the Golden Shield and brushed over the golden-robed youth's Body-Protecting Spirit Light. His Body-Protecting Spirit Light instantly shattered, and the Red Sound Wave passed through his body.
The golden-robed youth's features twisted. His body trembled, and a Nascent Soul that looked remarkably like him flew out of his body.
