Background / History

Moeka spent her early life attending human schools, where her Vampire nature left her isolated and mocked. She came to hate humans and grew deeply afraid of being alone. Lin Feng becomes the first friend she acknowledges having since birth, prompting her to gradually trust him despite his humanity 54.

Her mother, Akasha, sealed Moeka's power inside a Cross to prevent her True Ancestor blood from going berserk and resonating with Alucard, whose revival would endanger her. The seal suppresses much of Moeka's strength and initially causes her to forget important parts of her past 54 64.

At Yanghai Academy, Lin Feng establishes the Neighbors Club specifically to help Moeka make friends and escape the loneliness she experienced in human society. Moeka eagerly helps furnish the clubroom and views it as a place where she can belong 57 58.

Moeka later learns that her father, Shuzen Iccha, was murdered by Shuzen Gyokuro and resolves to rescue Akasha from Alucard. After the Cross is fully unsealed, her divided personalities merge and her childhood memories return 84 85.

Appearance

Moeka’s appearance changes substantially depending on whether her Vampire power is sealed.

• Sealed form — waist-length pink hair, emerald-green eyes, and a gentle expression. She keeps the power-sealing Cross close to her chest 54.
• Inner Moeka form — silver hair, scarlet eyes, sharp fangs, raised eye corners, and an intimidating aura 55 63.
• Post-merger form — silver hair and blood-red eyes become her normal appearance after Inner and Outer Moeka merge 84.
• Wears a blue yukata with star patterns during Yanghai Academy’s sports festival 80.

Personality

Outer Moeka is shy, affectionate, and emotionally vulnerable. Her past isolation makes her intensely grateful for companionship, particularly Lin Feng’s friendship, and she strongly desires to make friends with other students 54 57. Though prone to jealousy when other girls approach Lin Feng, she hesitates to hurt people she considers friends—even when Inner Moeka urges her to use force 67.

Inner Moeka is Moeka’s proud and forceful Vampire personality. She considers Vampires superior to other races, distrusts humans, and initially refuses to accept Lin Feng easily. She is highly protective of Outer Moeka, however, and recognizes that her other self fears abandonment 56 59 65. After their merger, Moeka retains a more composed and resolute demeanor while becoming more open about her happiness and her desire to save Akasha 84 87.

Yanghai Academy and the Neighbors Club

Moeka introduces Lin Feng to her sealed Vampire nature and her history of loneliness. Following conflicts with Komiyashizou and Kuroi Koko, Lin Feng forms the Neighbors Club to give Moeka a space to make friends 54 57.

Inner Moeka’s Awakening

Koko’s attempt to claim Lin Feng causes Moeka to remove her Cross and awaken Inner Moeka. The S-class Vampire persona becomes a recurring force in Moeka’s conflicts with Koko, Hu Meng, Bai Xue, and the Public Security Committee 55 63 72.

Kuyou Incident and Lin Feng’s Transformation

When Kuyou’s fireball gravely injures Lin Feng while he protects Inner Moeka, she turns him into a Vampire by transferring her blood. This act both saves his life and establishes their shared True Ancestor connection 64.

Shuzen Family and Alucard

Moeka reunites with Shuzen Aiai, learns the circumstances surrounding Akasha’s seal and Shuzen Iccha’s death, and merges her two personalities after the Cross is unsealed. She joins Lin Feng’s assault on Otogi Country to rescue Akasha and oppose Gyokuro and Alucard 83 84 85.

Reunion with Akasha

After Alucard’s defeat, Moeka reunites with Akasha. Though relieved to see her mother again, she reacts angrily upon suspecting Akasha has become intimate with Lin Feng 87.

• Moeka’s first direct blood meal from a person is from Lin Feng; before meeting him, she consumed tomato juice and blood packs 54.
• She initially cannot remember why the Cross seals her power, though the reason is later revealed to be Alucard’s connection to her bloodline 54 64.
