Night Talk! The Real Elisa

The three walked into a relatively secluded district, where a cloaked figure came into view. The moment Joanna saw the person in the cloak, delight overflowed across her face. All the coldness she had shown Paul was gone as she hurried lightly toward him.

Though the cloaked figure was thoroughly concealed, Chen Rui recognized him at a glance—Samuel.

Samuel caught sight of Chen Rui from the corner of his eye and seemed slightly surprised, but Joanna quickly took his hand and led him away.

To avoid arousing Elisa's suspicions, Chen Rui deliberately hesitated before asking, "That person..."

"Remember the oath you just made!" Elisa shot Chen Rui a fierce glare, "scaring" the words back down his throat.

"Miss Elisa, what do we do now?"

"Let's wait here for now. Joanna probably won't..." Elisa thought for a moment, then suddenly blushed faintly, curiosity appearing on her face. "Tell me, what do you think they'll do when they're together?"

Chen Rui secretly rolled his eyes. It seemed Elisa was in on it too. But that stubborn fool Samuel had already made up his mind to defeat Paul openly and honorably, so the chances of him directly eloping with Joanna were slim.

"I think Miss Joanna must be discussing some meaningful matters with that friend of hers, such as their ideals in life..." Chen Rui silently added, and perhaps the structure of the human body while they're at it.
