According to Fizz, these statues were magic-pattern guardians with formidable strength. Any enemy daring to force their way into the academy would suffer terrifying attacks.
Besides the guardians, there was also a squad dressed as guards. One lean man among them actually looked familiar to Chen Rui.
He remembered now. Back at the Elven envoy station in Silvermoon Fairy Capital, this idiot had tried to show off before Lambis and several female students, choosing Chen Rui as his stepping stone.
