Background

Lola is the daughter of Meriya and Span. Twenty thousand years before her return to Dragon Valley, she rebelled against an arranged marriage to Karlru by beating him, taking his wealth, and fleeing home. Believing that her parents had used her departure to control Dragon Valley's political situation, she entered the Demon Realm determined to seize her own fate through strength. She later learns that her parents had also intended her escape as protection. 855 915

In the Demon Realm, Lola established herself in Rainbow Valley, where she created complex magic arrays and pursued magical research with extreme intensity. Her experiments could be ruthless: when Chen Rui first encounters her, she tests his magic resistance by using him as a subject before accepting him as an assistant in exchange for his knowledge of Dragon Language Inscriptions. 343 344

Her hostility toward Pagliu originated when he ambushed her for the Silver Casket. The failed ambush began Pagliu's long flight from the Fairy Dragon, and their enmity remained severe when Lola arrived in Darkmoon. 351 405
