Background / History

Ye Emperor Hall was originally led by Ye Xuan, its first Sect Master. By the time Ye Changge arrived, the sect had fallen into ruins, while Ye Xuan himself had died to the passage of time. Ye Changge resurrected Ye Xuan through a Golden Summoning Card and appointed him a guardian elder. Ye Xuan’s return released an imperial aura that alerted powerful forces across the continent. 1

Using a Sect Level 1 Construction Card, Ye Changge rebuilt the ruined grounds into a vast sect with major halls, a Heavenly Stairway, and dense spiritual energy. The rebuilt sect impressed even Ye Xuan, who regarded Ye Changge as possessing the power to “seize the creations of heaven and earth.” 3

After defeating the Jia Ma Empire’s coalition forces and killing Yun Shan, Ye Emperor Hall declared that the empire would henceforth revere it above all else. The victory established the Hall as the Jia Ma Empire’s dominant force. 17

Ye Changge subsequently expanded the sect’s facilities, elder corps, disciple system, and affiliated territories. The Hall formally opened recruitment to cultivators across the Northwest Continent, drawing tens of thousands of applicants. 18 28 29

Following Pill Tower’s declaration of war, Ye Xuan issued an Imperial Decree that destroyed Pill Tower with a single palm strike. The Eight Great Imperial Clans then submitted to Ye Emperor Hall, which was recognized as a force capable of dominating the entire Dou Qi Continent. 49

A later campaign in the Black Corner Region saw Ye Changge merge numerous first- and second-rate factions into a Maple City-based Ye Emperor Hall. After the fall of Demon Flame Valley and Old Demon Dimu, the Hall unified the region and demanded the registration of all experts at the Dou King Realm and above. 113 127

Sect Grounds

Ye Emperor Hall’s rebuilt mountain grounds are described as an immortal-realm-like complex of palaces, pavilions, and towers surrounded by mist-like spiritual energy. The Dou Qi within the sect is several times denser than outside, later said to be dense enough to condense into mist and rain. 3 9 44 48

• Heavenly Stairway — A hundred-li stairway leading from the foot of the mountain to the sect. Its scenery changes constantly, and outsiders without an escort must pass its illusion-based test to enter. 3 30 44

Sect Rules
