After Zoe and Richard left, Theus did not immediately summon Isaac to ask about the matter—he was currently neither in Blood Port nor Castel, but over in the Empire.

After reclaiming the Northern Territory, Isaac and his Gray Alliance had fully established contact with Castel. The intelligence organization was thriving in the Empire and even had the capacity to support the Resistance Army.

After taking a brief rest in Castel, Isaac returned to the Empire, leaving behind several channels for relaying messages.

If Castel truly came into conflict with the Empire, at least gathering intelligence would no longer be as difficult as it had been in the Northern Territory.

Theus sent an inquiry about the matter to Isaac through an informant. A response would arrive soon enough. After giving it some thought, Theus shook the bell on the table.

"Young Master Theus." Connor gently pushed open the door.

"Prepare a ship. I'm going to Blood Port."

"All right. Shall we use..."

"No!" Theus's face darkened as he immediately cut him off.

He knew what Connor wanted to say. He had a private vessel, and the old butler wanted to ask whether he wished to take that ship.

Come to think of it, Monica had been the one behind it. Somehow, she had gotten hold of one of Tata's design blueprints that had previously been rejected, and promptly had a prototype built.

Building a ship was no big deal. Castel did not lack steel. When Monica submitted the application, Theus had not looked at it closely and approved it with a casual stroke of his pen.

At the time, he had thought it was just a ship. Even if it sank, it would not matter. Had Tata sunk too few ships already? He could treat it as practice for the kid.
