"How do we become stronger? Well, obviously—" Nini swallowed.
"Obviously, add more arms, gain more strength, use more powerful weapons, and crank up the yield!"
Nini was not a follower of yield. Well, not an extreme follower of yield.
After all, yield really was useful. Increasing the yield could solve ninety-nine percent of problems, and if it did not, there was a ninety-nine percent chance the yield simply was not high enough.
The people around them nodded one after another. Whether Banshees or humans, most agreed with Nini's line of thinking.
With enough strength, one could wield a Gatling Gun. With even more strength, one could use a Dragon Breath Cannon. Enhancing individual strength allowed one to use more powerful weapons.
Even the weakest Banshee, Monica, was far stronger than the strongest mortal warrior. At the very least, she could hold several guns at once.
"Is that what all of you think?" Theus looked around.
"I believe we can reinforce the Banshee armor. Mechanical Cathedral's technology has already been analyzed to a considerable extent. We can now wear thicker armor without compromising mobility," Gaia said, stepping forward.
"Not bad. Stack thicker armor, take nastier beatings." Theus nodded.
"Um, is something wrong? From what you are saying, our line of thinking is headed in the wrong direction?"
Theus did not answer directly. Instead, he looked at Nini. "Nini, what do you think is your greatest advantage on the battlefield?"
Nini froze. She looked at her snake tail, then at her six arms. After hesitating for a moment, she said, "My... strength? I can wield heavier weapons."
"Rebecca, what do you think?"
The girl whose name had been called jolted, pointing at herself in surprise. "Me?"
She had only been in Castel for a few days!
She was merely a carpenter's daughter.
