Monica woke up in bed, somewhat bewildered.
Where was this? Hadn't she just been at the Banshees' ball game?
She climbed out of bed, put on her shoes, and walked to the window.
Wait, shoes?
Monica hurriedly turned to look at the mirror in the bedroom, and her entire body began to tremble slightly.
"Legs!?"

Sure enough, there were no ripples from the Symbiotic Pact within her heart, and the Mind Link was utterly silent. Then, memories suddenly flooded in like a tide.
