| Name | Cosmic Venerable |
| Original Name | 宇宙尊者 |
| Occupation / Role | High-ranking cultivator of the Primordial Universe |
| First Appearance | Chapter 11 |
Rank and Status
Cosmic Venerables are major powerhouses positioned above King-level Immortals and below Universe Masters. An Invincible King may only barely survive against an elementary Venerable, while ordinary Cosmic Venerables can freely enter the Primordial Stars—an environment that destroys Immortal Gods 50 80.
The rank includes substantial internal differences. The narrative distinguishes elementary, low-level, mid-level, High, and peak Venerables, as well as Cosmic Overlords and Peak Cosmic Overlords. A Cosmic Overlord is far stronger than an ordinary Venerable, but remains beneath a Universe Master 50 57 82.
| Tier / Comparison | Notes |
|---|---|
| King-level Immortal | Generally unable to interfere in a battle between Cosmic Venerables; even an Invincible King is only expected to barely survive against a low-level Venerable 50. |
| Elementary Cosmic Venerable | A standard entry-level Venerable; Zhang Dong's ability to kill one as a King-level Special Lifeform is considered extraordinary 51 57. |
| High Cosmic Venerable | Powerful enough to act boldly in dangerous secret realms such as the Hagu Secret Realm 63. |
| Cosmic Overlord | An elite Venerable level. Their divine bodies, secret techniques, and treasures can vastly exceed those of ordinary Venerables 64 82. |
| Peak Cosmic Overlord | A pinnacle Venerable-level existence, such as Purple Rain Venerable; these experts possess extraordinary genetic advantages, treasures, and combat power 88. |
| Universe Master | A higher realm and the pillar of a race; capable of controlling spacetime and resurrecting fallen Cosmic Venerables 56. |
Abilities and Characteristics
Divine Power and Combat
Cosmic Venerables possess immense divine power, law comprehension, and secret techniques. Even a low-level Venerable can devastate a vast region in battle, while the power gap between ordinary Venerables and Cosmic Overlords is especially pronounced 52 57.
- Their attacks can combine divine power with law domains and treasures.
- Ordinary Cosmic Venerables are stated to possess roughly ten million times the power of a Realm Lord before additional genetic and divine-body enhancements 66.
- Venerables can burn divine power or self-destruct during desperate combat, though this risks severe loss of treasures and later debt after resurrection 49 52.
- High genetic-level Special Lifeforms can reach or surpass Venerable combat power before formally attaining the rank 52 57.
Spatial and Domain Methods
Many Cosmic Venerables use domains, spatial restrictions, and law-based suppression to control battlefields.
- Swamp Erosion Venerable, Scale Melody Venerable, and Thunder Splendor Venerable jointly sealed space around Zhang Dong, preventing teleportation 51.
- Domain-type Heavy Treasures can restrict opponents across enormous areas; a top-tier domain treasure may kill any King-level Immortal caught within it 53.
- Venerables traveling through dangerous secret realms must exercise caution when teleporting, as hazardous regions can kill even mid-level Venerables 63.
Treasures
Treasures are central to a Cosmic Venerable's combat strength and status.
- Heavy Treasures are highly sought after by both Invincible Kings and Venerables, who may wait millions of years for opportunities to obtain them 50.
- Flying palace-type Heavy Treasures greatly improve a Venerable's survivability against stronger opponents 51.
- A low-level Venerable possessing a treasure comparable to a true treasure can become a target for more powerful beings 53.
- High-tier armor and domain treasures can allow a Venerable to endure stronger attacks or suppress weaker enemies, but such items often exceed an ordinary Venerable's entire fortune 65 84.
Resurrection
Fallen Cosmic Venerables may be resurrected through spacetime reversal by a Universe Master or stronger existence, but resurrection is costly and does not restore lost treasures.
- Thunder Splendor Venerable is revived by Banfu Lord through reversed spacetime, returning without his armor or other treasures 56.
- An elementary Venerable may wait tens of millions or hundreds of millions of eras for resurrection if their faction does not prioritize them 56.
- Revival expenses can leave low-level Venerables with enormous debts 52.
- Resurrecting a Cosmic Overlord or Peak Cosmic Overlord requires a Universe Strongest rather than an ordinary Universe Master 87.
