Jiang Han founded the Tang Sect after gathering Tang San, Oscar, and Xiao Wu as his first disciples. When asked for the sect’s name, he answered “Tang Sect,” then sought a First-Class Sect assessment despite the group numbering only four people. 325

At Saint Pavilion, Jiang Han defeated the assessment opponent—a Level 91 Titled Douluo with nine ten-thousand-year soul rings—using the Meteorite Iron Seal. The Tang Sect’s recognition as a First-Class Sect was announced across the continent, immediately drawing attention from Spirit Hall, the Clear Sky School, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, and the imperial powers. 327 328

Jiang Han declared that he had built the sect for Tang San and entrusted its ultimate future to him. Tang San accepted this responsibility as the sect’s prospective leader. 329

The group initially possessed no permanent headquarters. After Dai Mubai joined, Jiang Han selected An Yi Town—a lawless settlement also associated with the City of Slaughter—as the sect’s base, citing its suitability for both development and rapid cultivation.
