Authority and Restrictions

Suppression of Combat Power

The Primal Universe caps the usable power of Secret Techniques at the peak of the sixth tier, affecting even Void True Gods. This restriction does not weaken a cultivator's divine body, defensive treasures, or comprehension of laws. 102 308

• True Gods retain divine bodies that peak sixth-tier attacks generally cannot harm, making them extremely difficult for Universe Masters to threaten within the Primal Universe. 2 308
• Higher-realm cultivators can still display greater technical subtlety through law manipulation despite the cap on raw power. 102
• Pure will attacks are not subject to the same restriction, though soul attacks and soul enslavement trigger immediate suppression. 110

Breakthrough Protection

When a Universe Master breaks through to True God, the Origin Will and Supreme Rules provide absolute protection against outside interference. 2

• Shi Yan's breakthrough was protected even as the Monster Beast Progenitor attempted to pursue him. 2
• This protection ends once the Miniature Universe is fully structured; subsequent Chaos Evolution is considered realm consolidation rather than part of the breakthrough. 3
• A newly formed Miniature Universe is expelled into the Universe Ocean after its God Kingdom evolves beyond the Primal Universe's limits. 2

Observation and Communication

The Primal Universe can perceive events within itself with ease and, when exerting sufficient power, observe the broader Universe Ocean. 124

• Its Origin Will normally cannot act freely or communicate directly without permission from the Supreme Rules. 123
• The Origin Will can transmit information most effectively in the Ancestral God Secret Realm, where the Primal Universe's origin is strongest. 123
• The Ancestral God Sect often serves as its intermediary, including in negotiations with major figures. 123
• Its restrictions are set by the Supreme Rules and enforced through the Primal Universe Origin. A full-force strike from that origin is comparable to a God King's all-out attack. 207

Origin Will

The Origin Will is the Primal Universe's active consciousness, but not the Primal Universe Origin itself. It seeks to preserve its own continuity rather than be extinguished and replaced. 312

• When a World Beast devours the Primal Universe, the universe destroys itself and reverts to Origin to resist; the current Origin Will dissipates in that process, even if a new will later emerges. 312
• Possession of the Primal Universe would likewise replace and erase the existing Origin Will. 312
• It initially reacted with fury when Shi Yan's Eternal True God Divine Power Avatar entered the Primal Universe, demanding that he promise not to seize it. Shi Yan refused. 207
• It later revealed that it had allowed Shi Yan to merge with an otherworldly soul, thereby changing his original fate. 312
• Facing the World Beasts, it reached an agreement with Shi Yan because World Beasts cannot be negotiated with and Shi Yan was its only viable means of preserving its consciousness. 312

History

In the early Primal Universe, life and ordinary races had already emerged before the Natural Beast Gods were born from the Primal Universe Origin. The Natural Beast Gods began at vastly higher life levels than ordinary lifeforms and were positioned as examples of the fused-law path. 12 188

When Shi Yan advanced from Universe Master to True God, the Primal Universe's Origin Will halted the Monster Beast Progenitor and protected Shi Yan's breakthrough. The protection allowed Shi Yan's God Kingdom to transform into a 100-million-light-year Miniature Universe before it was expelled into the Universe Ocean. 2

After Shi Yan became a True God, he began to sense pressure and rejection upon re-entering the Primal Universe, despite having been born as one of its favored Natural Beast Gods. 5 The Origin Will later summoned him to the Ancestral God Secret Realm for communication, then closely monitored him as his strength and potential to seize the Primal Universe grew. 123 124

The gestation of World Beasts forced the Primal Universe to seek stronger defenders. Its Origin Will recognized the threat after World Beast power was involved in Dream Demon Ancestor's death, then revealed the World Beast crisis to the Universe Ocean. 310 329 332 It also ordered the Ancestral God Sect to probe the World Beasts. 388
