His confidence often becomes arrogance: he treats Feng City's top-disciple title as established fact, injures Jin Family youths while supposedly offering instruction, and expects to crush Shi Mu publicly. 16 18 23 However, he respects demonstrated strength. After Shi Mu withstands the Six-Flame Chain Strike, Wang Tianhao honors his stated condition and withdraws Jingang Martial Hall from the competition. 24

Challenge to Fierce Fist

After learning that the Black Fox Society's masked expert had decisively defeated several martial artists, Wang Tianhao orders its members to arrange a match. 15 He instead attacks the Black Fox Society at the Heavenly King Temple, defeats Feng Li, Gao Yuan, and their subordinates, then confronts Fierce Fist directly. 16

Shi Mu catches Wang Tianhao's spearhead barehanded and bends the refined-iron shaft, prompting Wang Tianhao to stop the battle, pay compensation, and promise to defeat Fierce Fist another day. 16

Four Great Martial Halls Competition

Representing Jingang Martial Hall, Wang Tianhao publicly challenges Feihong Martial Hall and overwhelms Gu Zhong with the newly manifested Blazing Fire Flame. 22 He then declares that Jingang Martial Hall will accept last place if anyone can defeat him, before calling Shi Mu onto the arena. 22

During their battle, Wang Tianhao confirms Shi Mu's Fierce Fist identity, uses the Fang Fire Spear Technique, Leaping Fish Step, and Six-Flame Chain Strike, but fails to defeat him. 23 24 Keeping his word, he withdraws from the competition; Flowing Wind Martial Hall ultimately wins, and Feng City's top-disciple title passes to Shi Mu. 24 25

Bloodline Awakening

Following the competition, Uncle Xu concludes that Wang Tianhao has awakened the Wang Clan's Violent Flame Bloodline, explaining his ability to produce Blazing Fire Flame at the Martial Disciple stage. 25 During the Bloodline Tide, a Pulse-Seeking Envoy identifies Wang Tianhao as one of three bloodline users found in Feng City. 27
