Zhan Feng was born into a warlord family from the Federation’s front lines. During recruit training, he stood among the capital-born elite alongside Chu Lin and Lin Xuan. He initially dismissed Jiang Yue’s underground-arena victory because of Jiang Yue’s slight build, though his tense muscles showed that he remained wary. 40
