Sudo Incident

Hirata refuses to let Class D abandon Sudo after the latter is accused of assaulting Class C. He defends Sudo before a skeptical class and later works with Horikita to pressure the Class C students into withdrawing their charges. 22 30

Uninhabited Island Exam

During the island exam, Hirata helps Class D settle on a base, supports Horikita’s selection as leader, and continues to manage the group’s day-to-day work. 41 42

He is briefly angered when Yamauchi disparages Qiuyue’s isolation and suitability for leadership, sharply cutting him off before returning to his usual calm demeanor. 41

As tensions rise over the missing panties and the alleged traitor, Hirata repeatedly mediates between factions. His endorsement of Qiuyue’s proposal helps shift the class away from blaming Sakura and toward recovering lost points. 55 59

Sakura’s Ostracization
