Ten-Tails Revived!

Naruto and the others vanished into the wilderness beneath the moonlight.

All that remained on the scarred earth were deep ravines, scorched burn marks, and smoke and dust drifting on the night wind. The clearing where the masked man had stood was empty, with only a few shallow footprints telling of how someone had watched everything here not long ago.

But dozens of miles away, in another patch of darkness, that white spiral mask reappeared.

The masked man stepped out of Kamui Space without a sound. He stood within a secluded valley, surrounded by towering rock walls. Moonlight could only seep through the narrow gap overhead, casting a thin strip of light across the ground. He had prepared this place before the war began—far from the main battlefield, far from everyone's sight, quiet enough and hidden enough.

He raised his right hand and took three things from Kamui Space.

The first was a dark-red tentacle. An Eight-Tails tentacle—during the battle just now, Eight-Tails Killer B had blocked several attacks, and a few of his tentacles had been severed by lava and corrosive fluid. Amid the chaos, the masked man had collected one of them. The end of the tentacle still twitched faintly, with Eight-Tails Chakra lingering within it.

The second was a massive amber-colored bottle. The Amber Purifying Pot, one of Kumogakure's Six Paths ninja tools, was capable of sealing anyone who responded to its call. The masked man had obtained it when he raided Kumogakure early in the war, and sealed inside it were the Kinkaku and Ginkaku brothers—those two Kumogakure elites who possessed Nine-Tails Chakra. During the First Great Ninja War, they had consumed chunks of the Nine-Tails' flesh, gaining its Chakra. Though incomplete, it was pure enough.

The third was a person. An unconscious young man dressed
