Eight years of secluded cultivation passed quietly.

Akes awoke from meditation. His Mysteries of Fire Element were still at ninety-nine percent. That final step seemed within reach, yet impossibly far away.

He rose, stretched his limbs, and headed toward the gathering place.

At the gathering place, all ten top experts had arrived.

Linley flew out of the volcanic crater, his body streaking across the sky like a beam of light before landing in front of everyone.

"Sorry for the wait." Linley glanced around and gave a slight bow.

Faen stepped forward and looked Linley over, his eyes filled with shock. "Linley, how much has your strength increased?"

"Several times over," Linley said calmly.
