On an iceberg in the Underworld, Houka lay atop a mountain-lord-level giant bear beast, leisurely singing.

A graceful figure leaped through the air and swiftly arrived atop the iceberg.

"You're here!"

"Come, sit. It's warm here!"

Houka sat up, looked at Shakky, and lightly patted the spot beside him.

Shakky showed no shyness or restraint. She jumped straight onto the giant bear's back and sat beside Houka with complete ease.

"This is for you."

Houka produced a bouquet of flowers from nowhere and handed it to Shakky.

There still had to be some romance.

Even though Shakky was mischievously cutting Gloriosa off, Houka intended to turn this "secret meeting" into a proper date.

"Is this the trick you use to deceive little girls?"

Shakky smiled faintly, yet she still accepted the flowers with great care and gently sniffed them, clearly in quite a good mood.

"I merely respect every girl I like, and every girl who likes me."

"Shakky, would you accept my invitation for a date?"

Houka stood and formally extended his right hand to Shakky.

He wanted to turn Shakky's secret date into an invitation he had taken the initiative to make, easing her guilt toward Gloriosa.

As a man, it was no big deal for him to shoulder a little more.
