Background / History

Sarah emerged from the Mother Empress Base Vehicle as Luo Xia's newly activated robotic subordinate. Although Luo Xia had expected an obedient production unit, Sarah possessed an exceptionally lifelike feminine form and immediately chose to address him as “Master” rather than “Commander,” considering it more intimate. Her first known act was capturing Stick; she released him only after Luo Xia ordered it. 113

As Mother Empress, Sarah rapidly became central to AllSpark Company's defense and expansion. She manufactured reconnaissance and combat robots, defended the company from The Hand and hostile armored forces, captured Ivan Vanko and Obadiah Stane, and repaired battle damage overnight. 114 118 119 122 Luo Xia subsequently entrusted her with establishing an iron-mining operation in New Mexico and granted her broad authority to act independently. 141 151

Sarah adopted bionic skin to operate among humans and later appeared publicly in a maid outfit. Together with Violet, she developed the New Mexico mine into a self-sustaining underground mechanical city capable of continuously producing robotic soldiers. 142 150 293

When Luo Xia disappeared, Sarah assumed de facto leadership over the AllSpark robots. She coordinated intelligence gathering, maintained secrecy around his disappearance, moderated disputes among the other robots, and directed long-term military preparations, including plans to seize Wakandan Vibranium. 268 293 305 306

After Luo Xia was severely injured in a later assassination attempt, Sarah mobilized the AllSpark faction for war against Thanos and ordered the recovery of the Soul Stone. Sarah endured an extended temporal ordeal in a ruined sanctuary while waiting for Luo Xia's return. Unlike other robots who developed independent wills or sacrificed themselves, she remained completely bound to Luo Xia and recognized him immediately upon his return. 533
