Background / History

Achilles was born with albinism and pale pink eyes. Abandoned by her biological parents in a slum at six years old, she could not do manual labor because of photosensitivity and survived by scavenging in sewers. A warlord faction affiliated with the Infinite Game Company eventually found her near death and sent her for experimentation. 45

In the virtual world, Achilles abandoned the common practice of balancing physical strength with Psychokinesis. She recognized that long-range Psychokinesis required more observational and computational ability than ordinary users possessed, so she concentrated on physical enhancement instead. Her customized reptilian body—scaled limbs, spinal armor, and a tail—improved her mobility, balance, defense, and close-range offense. 45

After killing a giant lizard with repeated Cherry Bomb attacks, Achilles became the first resident to reach the Sky-Piercing Tower. Lin Li revealed both her real-world condition and that her apparent male form concealed her original appearance as a girl.
